If you are looking for the latest information on the Reno Poker Rooms, and Lake Tahoe Poker Rooms this should have all the live action games in the area. In Reno the No Limit Texas Hold'em games are exploding. The buy-in's run from a minimum of $30 to unlimited. Eldorado & Peppermill have the Highest Bad Beat in town most of the time. Plus the Peppermill has the most tournaments in reno and the highest buy in too. There are only two poker rooms in town that run Omaha poker games.
There are only couple poker rooms in Reno that run Seven Card Stud games. At South Lake Tahoe, MontBlue casino has a new poker room and the most tournaments during the week. Harvey's has the largest room in the area with 21 tables. The North Lake Tahoe poker rooms don't open till 7:00 pm., but you can find crazy pineapple at the Hyatt Regency. All the casinos will play any poker game you like if you get enough players to fill a table.

The casinos run three types of Texas Hold'em poker tournaments. Shootout is one type, it only lasts for one hour of play. No limit Texas Hold'em with rebuy for the first hour of play and add-on at the end of first hour. And No limit Texas Hold'em that has no re-buy, so you need to make sure you have straight information to your game.
